About Laura
How can you coach something you haven't lived?
Laura has lived and practiced what she coaches her athletes today, since high school. Her strength training journey started in high school as a cheerleading captain and Athletic Training class, where she found that being strong truly challenged her and brought her joy. She quickly learned that these strength training workouts would increase her strength and enhance her endurance in cheerleading. After high school, without cheer practices, games, and Athletic Training, she knew she did not want to lose all the strength she had built. She joined a gym and instantly knew going to the gym would be a consistent part of her college life. Her enjoyment and glow while there brought an opportunity from the staff to start teaching classes, and members began requesting one-on-one personal training from Laura because her classes alone had been getting them such great results. After getting certified, her journey into personal training took off. She started training clients in a gym in Old Town, Chicago, IL while still attending full-time classes at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Having graduated during the recession in '09, she decided to stay in the fitness industry. Training clients privately in their homes and teaching corporate wellness classes downtown Chicago was a passionate and fulfilling role.
In 2015, Laura shared her fit pregnancy, followed by a postpartum journey, which inspired many. After the birth of her daughter, many were requesting online personal training, and that is when she started her own fitness app. The app brings her fitness and lifestyle philosophy of balance and ease to anyone, anywhere, anytime. With clients coast-to-coast, Laura uses the LR Grace Personal Training app, to deliver personalized workouts, sustainable lifestyle tips, and healthy, fresh recipes. Her clients love her app because it delivers real, measurable results and is sustainable and tailored to the client. She is the one writing the clients' workouts with what equipment they have to get them to their desired goals. Laura takes out any thinking you need to do in coming up with workouts that actually get results so you can worry about more important things in life.
